Indonesian Coffee Conference cancelled due to Swine Flu
November 2009, Jakarta, Indonesia—Due to the H1N1 virus the
Indonesian Coffee Association has decided to postpone their
conference which was originally going to be held end-November
until possibly mid-year 2010. Judith Ganes-Chase was asked to be
a speaker at the event and was invited to be a presenter when
the conference is rescheduled.

J Ganes Consulting Conducts Workshop on Price Risk Management for Colombian Coffee Trade
July 28, 2009, Bogota, Colombia—The Federation of Colombian
Coffee Growers sponsored an all-day workshop where Judith Ganes-Chase
lectured for a group of about 80 coffee professionals from
exporters to traders on the benefits and how-to’s of using
futures and options for price risk management as well as
presented her fundamental views on the coffee market outlook.
Attendees found the workshop was highly informative and so
successful that a series of follow-up courses are already being

Judith Ganes-Chase attending London Cocoa Dinner
May 22, 2009, London, United Kingdom—The Cocoa Dinner was held with a fund raising initiative for an SOS Children's
Villages project in Côte d’Ivoire. The project aim is to build a
new village in Yamoussoukro which will consist of 12 family
houses, administration offices, a medical centre, a preschool
for 150 children and a primary school for 350 students.
