International Coffee Conference held in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam in
early December. The theme of the conference was Coffee Outlook 2006 but
Judy had her crystal ball polished and made predictions about the
fundamentals and where prices are headed through 2009.

presented "The Global Picture of the Coffee Market" when she
spoke at the National Coffee Association 2006 Fall Educational Seminar.

Ganes-Chase once again presented her outlook of the world cocoa
market at the well attended annual Milling and Baking Seminar sponsored
by Sosland Publishing. The conference drew crowds from the leading
baking and food manufacturing companies across the United States. In
addition to the cocoa presentation, a panel discussion on sugar was also given.
Education Workshops Conducted in Thailand and Indonesia
May 29-June 1, 2006 Jakarta, Indonesia—The National Cotton Council and
NYBOT sponsored price risk management seminars in Jakarta and Bandung, Indonesia as well as in Bangkok, Thailand where Judith Ganes-Chase
was the instructor teaching textile mills the mechanics of
using futures and options as a tool to minimize their risk and reduce
costs.
