Dec 6, 2006-Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam—Judy Ganes Chase was a presenter for the second time at the Asian International Coffee Conference held in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam in early December. The theme of the conference was Coffee Outlook 2006 but Judy had her crystal ball polished and made predictions about the fundamentals and where prices are headed through 2009.

Milling and Baking Seminar Invited Judith Ganes-Chase spoke for Third Time at Annual Conference on the Cocoa Market

June 5, 2006 Kansas City, Missouri—Judith Ganes-Chase once again presented her outlook of the world cocoa market at the well attended annual Milling and Baking Seminar sponsored by Sosland Publishing. The conference drew crowds from the leading baking and food manufacturing companies across the United States. In addition to the cocoa presentation, a panel discussion on sugar was also given.

Education Workshops Conducted in Thailand and Indonesia

May 29-June 1, 2006 Jakarta, Indonesia—The National Cotton Council and NYBOT sponsored price risk management seminars in Jakarta and Bandung, Indonesia as well as in Bangkok, Thailand where Judith Ganes-Chase was the instructor teaching textile mills the mechanics of using futures and options as a tool to minimize their risk and reduce costs.

Judith Ganes-Chase ran in the Nashville Country Music Marathon, to Support Blood Cancer Fund-Raising Efforts

April 29, 2006 Nashville, Tennessee—After cheering on the sidelines for her cancer-surviving husband when he ran the Dublin Marathon in the Fall of 2005 to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Judy got inspired to run beside him at the next marathon, also to support Team in Training's fundraising efforts to benefit research of blood cancers. J. Ganes Consulting continued to team up with NYBOT and Cotton Incorporated for Cotton Futures and Options Workshops

Winter/Spring 2006—J. Ganes Consulting and Matsen Enterprises teamed up again for a five part series of Futures and Options workshops for cotton producers that was held across the cotton belt this season. The workshops are sponsored by the New York Board of Trade (NYBOT) and Cotton Incorporated. A similar event for textile mills was held in October 2005 in New York. This is the third season that this educational program has been offered. The scheduled dates included:

April 7, 2006 Charlotte, North Carolina—For the third consecutive year Judith Ganes-Chase presented her Supply and Demand Outlook for Coffee at the Specialty Coffee Association of America's annual conference.

J. Ganes Consulting Presenting Views on Soft Commodities at the Alternative Investment Seminar in London

April 4, 2006 London, United Kingdom—Judith Ganes-Chase spoke at the Alternative Investment Summit, an educational forum aimed primarily at Institutional Investors. The event was expected to attract over 400 delegates from 28 countries, making it the UK’s premier alternative investment event. It was attended by asset allocators, pension schemes and other end investors, as well as fund managers and marketers.

March 21-23, 2006 Sao Paulo, Brazil—Judy Ganes-Chase addressed attendees at an international conference sponsored by F.O. Licht that debated issues affecting consumers and the sugar industries around the world. She discussed challenges the US sugar industry will face in a free market environment.
